NO Death Proof is 100% worth remembering it exists.

The Death Proof standalone is really really average, but if you watch Grindhouse, with Planet Terror and the fake adverts and CRUCIALLY the shorter cut (by the half an hour or so that Death proof standalone is too long), it all makes sense with what he's going for.

The shorter cut is absolutely the better version of the film to the point where it is actually good.

I watched Kill Bill 1 and 2 as a double bill on the 72ft Giant Screen last weekend. I forgot how bloody fantastic they were.

Was meant to be watching Django tonight on the same screen (in the premium seating with more leg-room, leather etc) but the snow has scuppered that. Bah.

I watched this in the cinema and was the worst film I saw over the summer (which included watching The Wedding Video and The Watch)

I'm not really sure if I've seen all of Bourne (I saw the third one first, then most or all of the first and maybe the second?) and I couldn't really keep up with what was meant to be happening, and there was just no point at which the film got even remotely interesting.

It felt so much longer than its running time. Renner just did not make a good Bourne, and even Ed Norton was disappointing.

I've been following Bourdin on twitter since watching it (@francparler). Interesting to see he absolutely hates the way he is portrayed in the film, and also just how mad he is.

Listen to the entire soundtrack, with commentary by Tarantino. Typical cool tarantino music, and Tarantino nerds it up in between the songs with reasons for selection/origins etc.

This is out in America and now we have to avoid the spoiler minefield of the internet for the next 3 weeks. :(

Hearing pretty positive things about it though.

Amazing documentary about a boy who goes missing from Texas, and then three years later the family gets word that he's been found in Spain.

More interesting and with more twists than most fictional films, it's shot and edited really well (with lots of dramatisations/re-enactments, as well as interviews/actual footage of all the people involved). It feels more like a psychological thriller than a documentary.

Definitely in my top few films this year, definitely give it a watch if you get a chance.

Agreed, S4 definitely felt like it could have been an ending to the show. Though Season 5 (first half) hints that they are going to take it to a definite conclusion in the last 8 episodes.

Saw this on Wednesday. (Wales is a boring place.)

Absolutely loved it. Plot felt a bit messy but the cast gave hilarious performances and it was a fun film. Definitely different to In Bruges, and 100% worth watching (though probably one that can wait for a home release).

I watched this on Thursday (3D, 24 fps).

I really struggle to give a shit about fantasy type things and I was bored overall by it. The effects and locations were pretty spectacular though. I thought the 3D was really good every now and then, but mostly pointless.

I would thoroughly enjoy a Peter Jackson directed travel documentary about New Zealand.

I really enjoyed this. A solid, exciting action film, and the shaky-camera filming works well for the subject matter (mostly). A good modern buddy-cop film.

Anyone got console version of this? I have the PS3 version on the way, but worried that losing all the visual loveliness will detract from it.

Ben you should buy this and install Metro 2033 if you want a game to make your new PC feel all inadequate and old (OR show off what it can do, if the PC is good enough).
