I've always wondered what he thought of the co-opting of the V mask. Doesn't really go into it too much here, but still a good little piece.

Very interesting vid. Didn't realise he got absolutely no money from the movies. That's shocking. I thought maybe he was (as they said) being a bit too polite, both to the protesters and to the interviewers. Would have been great to see some fire.

Makes me feel a little proud that I have 3 of his graphic novels (comics) on a shelf and none of the movies. Even if I've hardly touched a couple of them.

That was completely his choice.

I did draw breath when the protester referred to V For Vendetta as "the movie" to Moore's face.

I'm sure it was, but the fact that he feels so strongly against any adaptation that he refuses to be associated with it in any way, whether it be monetarily or nominally, is shocking. I can understand wanting to avoid association with something shit but, whether he likes it or not, he can't escape the connection to his work. Obviously he's done the best job he can distancing himself from them, but the connection will always be there.

The connection may remain, but the story of his disappointment over it will remain too, so I can fully understand why he is so strict about it.

Damon Lindelof's sequel (to the comics, not the film) tv series started a few weeks ago. The first episode was excellent, the next two have been good but felt like they've slowed down a bit and just been building incrementally on what the first one did.
